Inspiration for ick 4 u
Dream #1: It all began with the founder's night time dream on October 27th, 2024! The main details involved seeing a father figure beckoning and calling to her to assist him! He said "Quick, I need a change of clothing. I am cold!" and when she looked closely, she saw a puddle of liquid on the ground. She surmised it was urine and took off with a run to get a change of clothing and a blanket to address the cold. As she ran to a glass lab-like building that she knew intuitively t was a "neurological" building, her left shoe was dislodged with right Naot shoe intact and upon arrival was denied entry by a man at the doorway until she had proper footwear! She requested a shoe cover and the man retreated to get it. As she waited for him to return, an unknown blonde haired woman came to the door instead with the question, "Can I help you build something?" and she woke up!
Upon rising, the founder pondered over the dream and knew it was no ordinary dream. She prayed for Divine interpretation and guidance. Bit by bit, enlightenment was shed and as she stepped out in faith, doors began to open.
Dream #2: She ultimately received another dream whereby her best friend in a blue denim pinafore was walking towards her. She pondered over her friend's unusual attire and hair colour and the fact that she was carrying a platter of cheese cake! One thing was clear, the blue denim symbol pinafore meant there will be hard work involved but it would be delectable (hence the cheese cake 😋)! As the founder continued to ponder over this dream and pray for interpretation, in waking life, she got an-email on December 2nd, 2024 from Alberta Innovates (about a different funding related- topic that she was interested in) directing her to Edmonton Regional Innovation Network (ERIN!!!). Guess what her best friend's name is? Bingo! ERIN! The interpretation was clear-hence began her journey with Edmonton Unlimited that is funded by ERIN and Alberta Innovates! She got involved with various programs offered by Edmonton Unlimited and met many founders from various industries!
The founder, based on her research background, need assessment, and quality improvement experience (and being an ethical practicing practitioner/leader) voluntarily decided to undergo a second opinion ethics review through “A pRoject Ethics Community Consensus Initiative” (ARECCI), a branch of Alberta Innovates. Guess what the ethics reviewer's (BTW unknown to her) first name ended up being? BINGO! ERIN! Double confirmation and encouragement to proceed with this work!
